Been here for friendly visit. Strategic location near to aeon, nice building, spacious parking lot. First arrive in the lobby, well lobby scenting, area cleanliness was good. However there is no music playing around the hotel area. One thing that impress me so much. BUFFET QUALITY. The variant was ok, buffet setup quite attentive. You can find the buffet really comforting your eyes with how detail they presenting the buffet. however buffet taste from mains was succulent. As a hotelier person, it is usual for me to find one or two dishes taste average, however it is a big no for what Aston Simatupang provide to their guest in their main buffet. Sautee vegetable was lovely, even orek tempe i found a pleasure in every bites. Dessert presentation and taste was very good. Noodle was ok. Kudos to Mr. Aldy. Needs improvement and staff training.

I stayed in a deluxe room at this hotel from April 11th to April 14th. After checking in, I called the receptionist and inquired about booking a connecting room, and although the receptionist confirmed its availability, they failed to clarify that it was a different room type. When I attempted to book a deluxe connecting room for April 12th to 13th, I was informed upon check-in that it was a twin beds room, not a deluxe. Disappointed, I settled for my original deluxe room but requested to be on the same floor. However, despite a 2 pm check-in time, I couldn't access my room until 3 pm, with the delay attributed to my floor preference, which felt unjustified. On April 13th, the receptionist contacted me regarding the make-up room, and though I declined cleaning, I requested just send me new amenities for double the amount. While the staff brought what I asked for, I noticed that they didn't provide enough shampoo. Fortunately, they were cleaning the room next door, so I asked a lady with glasses if I could get 2 more shampoos, she said yes, and she called her coworker to give my request. I overheard a staff member ( a guy) making an unprofessional and rude comment “banyak amat” which left a negative impression. Overall, the hotel needs to improve staff training in guest handling and professionalism. A welcoming smile and attentiveness to guest needs are lacking, impacting the overall experience.
